First off… we just want to say THANK YOU to all the amazing writers that have worked on these scripts! Everything is so well thought out and easy to prepare! In 2016 we hosted a party for Murder at the Juice Joint, in 2018 we did Cruising for Murder, and after a long break because of having kids… we’re starting annual murder mystery parties (while the kids are at their grandparents house)! Last year, we hosted Lights, Camera, Murder!
My husband’s birthday happens to be in October… so we combined that with our Halloween get together! He’s REALLY into horror movies, so we hosted the red carpet party, but put a spin on it and included horror movie elements! It was such a great time! The costumes and our decorations were so much fun, and then we reused our decorations for a trunk or treat and won an award! 🙂
This year, my son had a pirate themed 5th birthday, and we plan to repurpose the decorations for our murder mystery, plus rum, of course! So we are hoping to get a coupon for Murder Among the Mateys, adult version! We use a light up halo for the victim. And my very girly friend, Lindsey, took her up and coming rap star role VERY seriously… down to temporary face and neck tattoos.
We hosted Murder at the Juice Joint in 2016. This was the first one we went ALL out for and made us fall in love with murder mysteries and your scripts! Everything was in theme… the food, costumes, beverages and even the playlist! 🙂 Thank you again for your creativity and awesome scripts!! 🙂
