Knight of Murder: York, PA

We had a great time running and playing the Knight of Murder. We have been planning this for two months and finally played it on January 12, 2007.

Everyone rented costumes or made their own. Charlamagne had to be the best home-made costume. We started with dinner: turducken served with parsleyed potatoes. The table was set with numerous kinds of fruit and cheeses. Since it was with many from the church, we served faux wine. The King demanded a bit from the jester who after a joke or two admitted that their was some entertainment planned after the meal.

Once the meal was finished, all gathered in the King's Lounge and the peasantry entertained the nobility with a play. It was written about the life in the forest. It took the flora and fauna and showed there part in the river of life from spring through winter. In winter, everyone was sent back to their spots except the sap...who was still running.

Afterwards, we continued the mystery as the lights were turned off and our victim was found dead.

Everyone said they had a fabulous time and no one guessed the murderer, although some claimed they knew until someone talked them out of it.

We look forward to doing another...after a little rest first. :)
